Two things about the name. A dear friend, who also happens to work at the Farmers Markets where we parade our yarns a few times a month, was chatting with yet another friend when she was suddenly struck by inspiration. This is not as rare as you might imagine. She called me up and said "We've just thought of a perfect name for a batch of yarn!" We agreed, and sat around waiting for the yarn to show up. Here it is! I knew immediately because the colors reminded me of those pink-and-white-with-black-licorice-inside Good & Plenty candies from small kid time. Then there were the Good & Fruity ones, which I never liked, but the colors showed up here too.
We suggest that you buy yarn instead of candy, it lasts longer and won't ruin your teeth.
