This yarn absorbs color in the most magical of ways, hence it's name. So you might imagine that the variety of greens visible throughout the strands are myriad in addition to beautiful. The brightness of the hue brought to mind the story of the Cocythian nymph who was transformed from her earthly form into the beloved garden herb by an angry Demeter. I'm also reminded of my grandmother's vast mint patch from my childhood, and the heady scent that wafted out when the sun was hot on their leaves, or crushed between my appreciative fingers. Mint, in any form, is heavenly!
