$42 per 100g skein - dyed in a batch of 4 skeins

Now that I'm no longer keeping track of how I dye the batches of yarn, which allows me a greater freedom as I'm not tied to measuring, writing, and too much thinking, I've noticed a trust developing as to how the colors change with each overlay. My dyeing process is a long one, with each batch taking anywhere from two to four hours, sometimes longer. Not only do I individually mix each overlay, but then those colors influence the ones that come next, so nothing ever stays the same. More than once when I'm on color 3 or 4 I'm convinced that this time it's going to turn out . . . not so good. Then the next jar of dye goes in, the skeins go in, I give them a swirl and bring one up to the surface, and OMG, they're gorgeous!

At least I think so :)
